Source: petrideparteBring back our Pears! The soap package on the left is the new, evil formula that doesn’t lather and smells foul. The package on the right is the old trusted formula (also made in India) note no cello wrap and deep dimple in the surface. A facebook campaign made manufacturer Lever acknowledge their error akin to New Coke and they say they’re bringing back our old favourite in March of 2011. I’m from Missouri on this one!
Kraft - Stride Gum
At Chameleon, we are also working on a £1 million brief for Stride Gum. We have been researching information on the brand and also compiling research on their current marketing mix and creating a SWOT analysis on the brand which has given us important and relevant information in helping us create the best campaign for Stride. We have researched the Stride brand and found that they take a light hearted approach towards advertising and try to humour their audience with quirky mascots including an ostrich and a ram. One of their previous ad campaigns were called Play: Spit on your CEO. This ad campaign used mostly print based advertising and was desigined as a target board with a picture of the brands CEO in the middle. Three adverts were designed for this campaign and had different games on each of the ads:
